Walnut Grove MN USA | Most of the ones built in the last five years or so now include a small space between the pump and motor seals, maybe a half inch, just because of this problem. Heck it might even be closer to ten years now. I have a 5hp that is all metal, not all the plastic junk like shroud and fuel tank that is built that way, Thinking about it it is the pump that is designed with the space, not the motor. | |
