Subject: Re: Tracks vs. Wheels

Renville Minnesota

In the last 5 years, using a quadtrack, and two MT Cats, we have a combined hours of over 6000.  Not once have we had ANY down time due to tracks.

Quad has problems with hyd hoses, cats have had a couple stupid things like Air conditioner fan etc.......

For me or Michilin man to tell you what suits your best interest is dang near impossible.  Best advise is to find a wheat feild after harvest and see if the dealer will bring em out and demo, using YOUR implements.

Our 9390 with big Trelleborgs all around and suitcase weights to match, would slip 10% when we bought a deep ripper........HAd Cat and Case bring out the big boys to see what would work the best.    Both are beutifull machines (I guess the Deeres ok too :^), they each have their pros and cons.

Good luck shopping!
