I don't know all the details and may be wrong, but I believe the GPS2500 actually has the hardware (Hemisphere Eclipse II) to do RTK (with another firmware), AgLeader just doesn't carry that option. If you should want to upgrade to RTK in the future, you probably could work with a Hemisphere dealer to do that, if AgLeader at that point still doesn't offer it.
