Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The Garmin will need to be set at 4800 BAUD, 8, N, 1 with VTG and GGA turned On. If this Garmin was setup for the PF3000 this should already have been done.
The lack of information is normal with a Garmin since it is using the NEMA output. This information would be present if the GPS was a Trimble utilizing TSIP. The Ag Leader models that were mentioned were actually built by Trimble so they have the ability to talk NEMA or TSIP. The Garmin can talk Garmin or NEMA. The PF3000 can talk NEMA or TSIP.
It's been awhile but I think you may need the card present and logging turned On to get the GPS results that you expect. |
