Subject: Suction cup not doing it's job

Ste. Rose, MB
The suction cup for our Outback GPS has been letting me down lately. Normally I would pump it a few times & it would stick to the window of the cab but it now seems to want to hardly suck anymore. This is the 2nd suction cup for us, the original one lasted about 3 years. This one was bought last fall, used a little for fertilizer spreading, sat in the box all winter & then been using it for seeding, fertlizing & now spraying. What's worst is that the darn thing cost about $90! (seems like any part now days has to be a minimum of $100!) I can pump it 50 times & the little red line still appears, indicating that it is hardly holding on. Has anyone had a problem like this? Or any ideas of how to get this damn thing to stay stuck to the window? Not very fun during spraying when I'm following the lightbar & all of a sudden it lets go & drops on the dash!
