Subject: "B" cummins education?

I have a 4T390 cummins diesel that shut off while running down the road. No noise except for a sneeze through the exhaust. The cam wasn't turning, so I did some dissasembly. It has a broken cam, (after the first bearing, cam bearings were ok) one chipped tooth in the cam drive gear, the crankshaft gear turned some, and the small internal gear case attachment bolt above and to the right of the crank drive gear was not in it's hole. It appears that the bolt was loose, and eventually fell between the crank and cam drive gear. There were some small metal shavings on the drain plug magnet at the last oil change.

Where is the best place in central Kansas to look for the crankshaft drive gear and dowel pin for a CDC 4T390 engine, SN 44831025, the number on the gear is 3919680 R01? How much of this engine is the same as the 5.9 cummins diesel? Cummins truck shops can't get parts for CDC engines, using the serial number and there isn't a CPL on the tag.

I need to find a few parts tomorrow morning (gear-PN 3919680, dowel pin, two pushrods, front oil seal-PN 3900709) as common as the 5.9 is, this should be possible.

It is a good engine, just needs loctite on the gear case bolts.
