Dietrich, Idaho and Mountain Home, Idaho | I have both a 500 and fmx and would take the fmx(even at the 8,000 price tag for an omni* unit) any day over the 500. Haven't used a 750 but it doesn't look like it has near the capabilities/upgrades the fmx has. With the fmx you would have 4 cameras instead of two and can view the cameras on the run screen(not sure if you can do that with the 750). I used to hate the idea of the fmx being so expensive for what little I thought I would use it for but since I bought a used one I am thinking every day of all the ways I can use all of its features! I also like the data management better on the fmx, especially the ab line management, it is just head and shoulders above the 500. One last thing, it is so nice to be able to make adjustments to the ez-steer calibration numbers in the fmx on the go instead of stopping and running through menus to change freeplay offset, angle per turn, etc. Good luck with your decision. |
