Well what is holding up the tractor weight then cynic??
If you let air out of the tire, what happens?
The side wall can carry weight also, but the Michelins are designed NOT TO carry load, they are very flexible. All that carries weight is air in side the tire.
BTW I am NOT a tire salesman, but I am sold on their tires.
