Subject: Re: Filtering Out The Facts About Diesel Fuel

High Springs, Florida
Good post Alan. We need to be constantly reminded of these things. I installed the 2 micron Cat filter on my Duramax when it only had 2000 miles on it. I have a picture somewhere of the rust and water it collects in only 5000 miles.

I am starting to see some rust formation in some of my 70's JD 20 series tractors fuel tanks, even though I try and keep them topped off, as much as possible. Fuel filters get changed quite often. May have to start pulling off tanks and having the insides coated.
