Tillage with steel is fallen into dis-favor here lately. There is still some done by guys besides me though. Seems like there is more the last couple years too. Resistant Kochia and other chem resistant weeds have some dragging the chisel plows out of the storage lots.

Guys using chem-fallow and pre-plant burndown had a real wreck with Cheat (Downy Brome) last spring. Haven't talked with anyone to see if it was just a one year deal or if something else has changed. We are also unlucky enough to have Foxtail Barley here in spots. That stuff seems to be resistant to everything except a Flexi-Coil with 16" sweeps. I notice more and more of it in chem-fallow and continous crop fields. They will need to deal with it one of these years also.
