Wood Lake, MN | I have a HP TR3000 ruggedized tablet that I run FarmworksTM/SM with and I would never go back to a PDA. The screen and battery life are the 2 big pluses (sp). HP doesn't sell this one anymore, I got this one used off Ebay. Itronix actually built it for HP and they also sell the same thing. The only thing with the ruggedized ones is that they are spendy. The one I have has 2 pcmcia slots and 2 usb ports. My GPS antenna has a DB9 port so I bought a USB to DB9 converter from Radio Shack and it has worked great. I have heard of some GPS and USB converters not working very well together. The one I have has a wireless card builtin so I can synch it with my desktop over the wireless network. | |
