Subject: Alfalfa- only 1 time

Oakes, ND
Marc,

I only injected into alfalfa 1 time so far, and it was being plowed under for corn. This was before my guage wheels, so I didn't have the best depth control. The customer was happy with the job I did. I was asked by others if we left the field in alfalfa, but personally I would be scared to think what the alfalfa would turn out like. Not that it wouldn't work, but I don't want to be the guinea pig.
I have not used any injector besides the set I have. I have heard of guys using the Aerway on standing alfalfa with mixed results, because of manure incorporation more so than alfalfa stand or field condition. I have not seen it for myself.

Thanks for the compliment,

Matt Folkman
