Good

We use a Pheonix on untouched ground and ground that has been inline ripped. We like the job it does. It fluffs the trash mat and lets it air more. You can cover a lot of ground in a hurry. A 4440 in front of a 40 footer will get over more ground in a day than we could ever plant. Neighbors also used it this year to rework some ground they didn't want drying out to field cultivator depth.

Bad

It works best when there is some moisture present. If you have hard dry timber soils you'd probably be wasting your time as it isn't heavy enough to get any penetration. We try to plan accordingly on those soil types and conditions.

Ugly

The ugly part would probably be the transport. Some of fields its seems like it takes longer to fold and unfold than to work the field.
