I always find chem-fallow too expensive. I've got about 80 cents / acre in the disking operation and as a side benefit, got the weed growth worked down enough to do subsequent passes. Although it doesn't show in the pics, there was a serious growth of Downy Brome that had already hardened off enough to where RU wouldn't touch it. Just wouldn't have worked here. That's why I said the disk is always the tool of last resort. It owes me no money and is nice to have in the lot when it's the only thing that will work.
