Oklahoma | I have an old air compresser that the tank is bad on it. I have checked around for getting a replacement tank and haven't had a lot of luck with it. Either they want to sell me something else or refer me to someone who sells their products. Looked at getting a small propane or anhydrous tank from Cactus Tanks and they want me to go through a propane dealer. Dad mentioned having a welding shop weld a patch over the bad spot in the tank. IS that a good idea or just a accident waiting to happen? Am I better off to keep looking for a good tank. Any ideas on where to find a replacement tank. Thanks.
