Somerville, Indiana | we had a PTO on an 875 Versatile. There are so many parts that aren't used when the PTO is added, in other words, the original parts for the basic tractor is worthless unless you can find a need for them. it was a complicated system, internal parts in the master clutch assembly, a wet clutch applied by hyd pressure, combined with a drop box at the rear axle. In 1980 the PTO was an $8000 list price option factory installed.
In my opinion you would be better served buying an already PTO equiped tractor. Be sure to keep in mind that I realize how you feel as I respect your feelings and your thoughts. | |
