Portage MB Canada | I threw out my fax machine and didn't get a second phone line when I moved a few years ago. Went to a web based toll free phone number that delivers my faxes to my email box. If I want to send a fax I can type it on my computer and use the built in fax or scan the page and use my computers built in fax.
Much Cheaper, very simple, only print what you need and also you can keep important faxes in an email folder for future reference.
The best feature I never thought of at the time, it can also be used for voice mail.
When we are away from home/office for more than a day, we forward our home number to our fax number and our voice mails are delivered directly to our email wherever we are in the world. Went to visit family in England for a few weeks last xmas, and many people didn't even realise we were away unless I told them.. Business continued as usual.
