NC Kansas | About to loose what little hair I have left.
Deere 336 baler - when we started, was clipping top string about every 25-30 bales. Modeled on the knife arm, sharpened knife and put a stop to that. Had the pin come loose in a billhook - replaced and worked fine for about 500 bales - missed one bale when it changed twine balls.
Back to the field to finish today - tie about 5 and hang a knot on the tongue of the billhook. Tried all kinds of things. Adjusted tongue pressure - put a little more drag on the wiper arm. Put in a different twine arm - nothing... Tie 4 - 5 - 6 and hang a knot on the tongue.
