If you don't have a Drill Doc, an ordinary grinding wheel will work. Two hex nut held together will give a 60 degree angle for use as a guage to check the angle the sharpened bit has. The drill doctor probably sharpens at 59 degrees for mild steel. Hand sprarpening is quick, only trick then is to get each side equally
