Subject: RE: Fastrac 8250

NW Washington
Currently the largest JCB Fastrac is the 8250 which has a CVT transmission. But as mentioned dealers are few are far between and if you don't really need a tractor that will go 42 mph then you might want to consider something else. Here are some specs I pasted in here. They use outboard planetary axles on both ends, so changing tread width is still a hassle.

THE 8250 Fastrac is the largest tractor JCB has ever built. A Tier-3-compliant, 8.3-liter Cummins QSC engine produces 280 hp and 1,179 Nm of torque. The engine works with a new JCB V-Tronic continuously variable transmission to provide seamless power delivery between 0 to 42 mph.

The new tractor has a list price of $199,400. Contact JCB Inc., 2000 Bamford Blvd., Pooler, GA 31322, 912/447-2000, www.jcb.com.
