Subject: RE: String trimmers

Southern Alberta
I have a stihl straight shaft trimmer that I like, but after I purchased the stihl I was at the sears clearance center and bought a string trimmer on 2 wheels with 6.5 hp briggs motor on it. It uses 2 very heavy strings that are doubled over (gives you 4 thick strings spinning around). The wheeled version is what gets used 95% of the time now. It is very well balanced, has lots of power, quieter, string lasts a long time, and best of all MY BACK LOVES IT. Take a minute and demo a push style with 2 wheels and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
