I guess I was focussed on where my interest lay, and didn't notice the other relevant bits..

I'm mildly surprised because i'd have thought that seeding into stuff as green as that, they'd be using a paraquat/trifluralin or Sprayseed/Trifluralin mix for "double knock" purposes with ryegrass, which i wouldnt have expected they'd do with the seeding pass.
