| this iis what is left of my uncles pickup from a week ago. he was pulling a pump out from this road that had been flooded, had been down it several times before, but when he tried to go through a bunch of cornstalks that had washed up on the road, he spun down. he unhooked the pump thinking he could get out and made it a little further but finally got stuck, pickup frame resting on ground. not to long after he noticed smoke and the fire coming out of the wheel wells and then shortly after, flames. he grabbed important stuff out of the cab and walked down the road a little ways and watched it burn. it melted his aluminum tool boxes, got his compressor and all his tools. later he tried dragging it out to the paved road with a tractor but it was so mucky under the corn stalks even the tractor wouldn't pull it.
