I think that's a fairly new tool for you, but I wonder what kind of life a guy can expect on the distribution towers and hoses. Will be a major project to replace them, I'd guess.

I learned another useful thing about air-seeders this spring, also. There is a trail to one of my fields that goes through a thicket of trees. I drove through there with my seed truck, on the way to fill my seeder. While filling, I noticed a whole bunch of twigs getting caught in the filter baskets for the fill. The baskets caught some of the twigs, but it surely didn't catch them all. My leg isn't jointed in the proper places to kick myself where I needed kicking for being too dumb and lazy to roll the tarp before driving through the trees so I gritted my teeth and seeded the load through. Amazingly, none of the tubes or towers plugged a single run??? I have since made a mental note to roll tarp before driving through trees. Might have been just sheer dumb luck that the twigs cleared this time.
