North Central MO | Put a set in a 2388 this week, left the rotor in the machine. Replaced the transition cone vanes with the 3/16 SS set. Pulled the throat, does not take much over 1/2 hour for that on cement with a cherry picker. I put the Kile flights in through the opening under the bearing support. 1 person can do it this way with a little blocking and pry bars to nudge the flight around after you get it through the opening. It's a pretty heavy chunk ... watch the fingers. With just one flight on the rotor the balance is considerablly off so when you rotate the rotor 180 to install the second flight be sure you lock the rotor some way if working from the lower opening. You don't want the thing to rotate around with your hands in there. They do go in easy ... fit well. I spent alot more time changing the transition cone vanes than doing the flights.
BTW, thanks Ron ... if your watching.
