I replaced a outer boom valve and it quits on or off fairly often but is unpredictable. Sometimes it will work after flipping the switch a couple times, sometimes not. Have to shut everything off for a few minutes and then it works, sometimes for quite awhile. Sounds like the internal fuse problem you are talking about. It was a 344BE valve.
