Central / West Texas | Professor.......get your act together. EPA has nothing to do with air lines- pvc or other. Maybe if you discard of pvc improperly, then EPA may have something to say about it! OSHA, MSHA, and other govt. workplace safety police have jusidiction over this. We used all galvanized pipe when creating an air sytem in the shop but there are also other ways to acheive a good, safe air system..... Those were not available years ago when we did ours.
My PVC/airline story, sorry no pics. I was in a little mom and pop tire repair shop paying for a tire they had fixed for me. It was winter and I was wearing a coat. Load noise behind me, something (later found out air coupler) bounced off a car and hit me in the lower back. The lady at the counter commented' "oh, that happens alot." Lucky I wans't injured, could have lost an eye or worse! | |
