soft fields pick a gear and wait till the road to shift. as for the 377 cheaper then 378 379 but if you work on your own truck that short hood takes away from room under hood makes it hard to get to stuff on the back of the motor or the transmision bolts. Iv had both and the 379 is way easyer to put a headgasket in or thake the tranny out of. just more room
