Subject: why did they put the extremity lights where they blind the operator?

Alberta, Canada
Thinking aloud here, on the 8R series, didn't they move the extremity lights back to the rear of the cab, because the way previous cabs had them where they distracted the driver's eyes?

Any reason in partuclar why they put them in a perfect spot to distract/strain the eyes while transporting at night, instead of putting them on the back half like all the other brands?

Yes, I understand how fugly that would look, but this will be a real pain I'm thinking.

As for the rest of it, I quite like it, I for one am pleased with this new look for all sizes. Just missing the smiley face mouth on the grill!
