sw mn | Used it the last 2 years on all of our corn. Will be using it again this year and maybe even on the ss seed too. Been puting it on with 10-34-0. The first year we had a ground driven pump that took 15 to 20 feet to get pressure up and you could tell that on the ends and where ever you stoped in the field for a rock or root ball plugging. The corn at harvest was goose necked and laying over in these spots and then standing perfect. Dont know if it was all from the capture or the starter but it was a huge difference. Last year switched to a hyd pump where i had pressure at the flip of the switch and was much better. Ss corn we didnt put the capture on last year, just the starter. It was our worst standing corn even though the yield was very good, but it was laying down terrible and left alot out there. Hate to put it on the ss since they say you dont need to, but if that is why it wasnt standing very good it will easily pay for itself. I dont mind trying new things, what works for one guy might not for the next but if you dont try you will never know. With $6 plus corn I dont think you will loose a bit. | |
