Univ. of ARk few yrs back did a Nitrogen response test on corn............I think it was like 0,50,150,200,250,300 lbs/ac of actural N applied. I was never so amazed how rate of N had very little to do with yield......... ............for example some of the 50#N yielded alot better than the 300#N.........I mean the yields vs N rate was all over the board................Does that make any sense?............I thought the test was flawed..............
