| I had a fleet of older tractors that didn't have the outlets either, and I wanted a universal system to add and remove monitors quickly and easily between tractors. So I bought a cheap 120v power strip that you use in AC outlets, cut off the plug-in and wired that up directly to a power source. I used the narrow spade for neg. the wide for pos. and the grounding plug for switched power. Then you can buy a plug-in from the hardware store to add to your monitor wires. It works, and you also have a master on/off switch, and the circuit breaker works if you have a short also. I could add or move a monitor in a few seconds instead of having to snake wires to the battery posts all the time. Most importantly...its cheap and simple. | |
