Take a look at the pdf I attached to my original post. They were using a Yetter Maverick system. I believe the hose goes all the way down the shank. I know some setups (like the Hiniker I'm looking at buying) has a diffuser plate half way down so there is no way of getting it that deep like you were saying. If I run dry this spring, I'll have to use PCU. As far as custom guys not getting deep, below is my custom guy running 10 inches. Of course he's only got 12 shanks down on that beast of a tractor, so all 16 might have been a pull.......
