Subject: Management of calcareous soils in IA

just ran across a description of a 6 page ISU extension pub from the early 90s titled "Management of calcareous soils of North-Central Iowa" - PM 1231 - Killorn, R. Miller, G and G. Czapar

I don't have a copy and it does not appear to be available through the web.

If you are having any challenges managing soils with naturally high pHs in IA or surrounding states you might want to try to track down a copy.

BTW this post was prompted by Gerald's comments about his high Ca soils in the recent "fertilizer debate" thread but I decided it might merit starting a new thread.
