I use LogMeIn Free on a whole bunch of customers computers when remote access is needed. It works awesome. I've also used crossloop but it requires a code from the host computer.
BUT, if all you need to do is "sync" files between two (or more) computers then you need to check out DropBox. The free version allows for 2GB of files ... Paid versions are reasonably priced and allow for up to 100GB I think.
Anyone use a service like gotomypc.com?
