One of the best things about a mack, IMO is the engines. We run three of them and they use little to no oil and rarely leak any. They also start good in cold weather.
On the flip side, if you are a tall guy, they don't have a lot of leg room.
Overall I am happy with them. I would put some merit in my decision as to how close a dealer is to you as well.
