Embarrass WI

One note-the Gradall telehandlers are not 4 wheel steer. They are rear steer only. When I was looking for a telehandler, I had found what I thought was a good deal on a Gradall until my brother(who works with TH's every day at his construction job)pointed that out. In some situations it can make a big difference.

All of the machines you mention have strong and weak points. It all depends on what you intend to use it for.

A friend of mine has an old Hyster similar to your picture only bigger-has dual truck tires on front(10.00x20 or so). That unit will go nearly anywhere that would be considered solid(no soft lawns or mud). The tractor one would be more all-terrain but less maneuverable. True vertical lift is sometimes a real plus, most of the time it doesn't matter.
