WNW Illinois, Henry Co | Seems odd that meter mounts aren.t available as I just put on 24, but to Torn's response. he might mean they have had problems in past too. Trimble is delivering new stop dogs and new engagement devices that should correct the alighment problems Case has with the meters to frame positioning. I did not like the way the surestops required the chain drive sprockets to be moved and cutting off of the tabs. IMO they were made for NO 1 planter maker and just added to Case as afterthought, hence my decision to go to Trimble. Plus with the LIqu-blok valves, I can shut off my Fert at same time easily.
Price difference is about 25 per row in favor of ag leader.
Most important thing is get with a knowedable sales rep that will be there for you no matter what. | |
