Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | That kid is a wizard with Legos. I met him at the Pasco Ag Show a year ago. He was there at the Zimmatic dealer's booth with the Lego pivot (of course) and the swather, track tractor and spud digger. The pivot has a working alignment system and autoreverse. I had to ask the Zim dealer, given that the kid could build an autoreverse circuit for $20 in parts, why the factory option costs so much. He didn't have an answer.
I offered to buy the digger and tractor, but he wouldn't name a price. He could have aimed pretty high; the digger is VERY impressive in person. OK, he could have aimed real high. I would have had a lot of explainin' to do when I got home, it's probably good he didn't want to sell. But I wish he would have...
