Sunnyvale, CA | Typically, all users who use GPS guidance on a field that was planted with markers will experience the same results you are seeing. When spraying on a pre-planted field that was not planted with GPS you need to use row finder function to find which row to turn around into, and you set it at the end of each pass to prevent accumulated errors caused by the manual steering of the planting operation to build up. Next season, when you plant with GPS, you will find there is no accululated error building up from each pass caused by manual steering with row markers. it is also very important to measure the row markers on the planter to verify that they are centered on the implement and the known spacing. If they have been repaired, one might be shorter than the other. same for foam markers, you need to verify the spacing and centering is correct. The foam markers only remember last pass. The equivalend GPS function in the EZ-Guide Plus is Adaptive curve. | |
