Casey Illinois | I purchased a new EX-Guide this spring, so far am very unhappy with unit. Have tried 2 different units with the same problem. While going thru field the swath will wander off anywhere from 1 foot to 10 feet or more. Reset AB line and it works for a couple swaths and then starts wandering again. Yesterday while spraying the swath was off up to 6 feet. The unit was updated with the new software when we purchased it. Have had unit on 3 different tractors, no interference with antenna's. CIH rep says he has not heard of any problems, next dealer south was having problems, called Trimble and told him of the problem, and he said the update was the problem and would send new software to correct problem, seems like it was a test update or something. Wondering if I am the only one out here that has this problem or if any one else has the same complaints. Will try unit again Monday to see if software has cured the problem. | |
