| Standing behind a disclaimer that supposedly absolves one of any wrongdoing is no way to build a business. As others have pointed out, the negatively publicity associated with this single forum thread will negatively impact RDO and Steffes well into the future. As the saying goes, it takes years to build a reputation, but just 5 minutes to destroy it.
I also question the value and validity of the service Steffes provides if they cannot guarentee the information in their sales listings. What is the point of holding an internet sale to attract a larger customer pool if the caveat is that any potential buyer must personally inspect a piece of equipment before they bid? How is this any different from having to attend a live auction to purchase something?
