NESD | When I do this type of project I weld the next size smaller washer onto the broken stud with as much heat as I can safely control to not burn into the head, then I step up to like a 5/8 nut and weld in the center and weld until the nut is filled so there is a lot of heat to soak, then cool it quickly and can usually turn the broken stud out with pliers. either that or just use a torch and blow it out, that works too. | |
