I bought a 5400 drill from halfway across the country. Ad said and salesman told me it was on 7.5" spacing. It is a 20' with only 30 openers (8") vs 32 openers (7.5"). I had used a 6" spacing before and can't tell any difference on silage. Last year was my best yield ever, even compared to 6"
