N.W. Livingston County, IL | Just did another one this week. Use carbide tip die grinding tool to flatten the top of the broken stud. Center punch and drill will small bit to start and then a larger bit. Use a four sided easy out to remove. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK THE EASY OUT! Too hard to drill them out. May have to drill clear through the stud and use a die tool to eat it away from the inside out. Biggest thing I can say is be patient and take your time. |
