Oh yeah, snap ring broke or came off the shaft. The new shaft comes threaded to put a bolt in with a washer. The cap for the hub won't works so you get a pretty gold, in color, one to replace the yellow one. Its common. I had to buy a new shaft last year and it still had the snap ring. Bought one this fall and it came with the bolt.
