Corydon, IA | Napa made a product called syl gluide. It was a silicone grease. I always use that on o rings sealing air. If you have o rings sealing oil, use the oil that they are sealing. If you have a seal sealing grease, use the grease it seals. If you have orings sealing antifreeze such as cylinder liner o rings in an engine block, use water based lube, such as soap or liner or ring lube like deere sells unless the installation instructions call for something else. | |
