North East Indiana
The valve gets plumbed in-line and mounts on the cultivator hitch. There should be a union fitting installed on both the raise and lower hoses where you put in the valve. There is 1 harness that goes from the AccuDepth display(larger socket) clear back to the cultivator. This one also has the power lead to a convience outlet. there is a second harness that goes from the "Deere SCV switch" to the display(smaller socket). The SCV on the CAT will need to be run in "Constant" and you will use the Deere switch to raise and lower the cultivator. You will need to read the Cultivator book to calibrate the system, but it is not too bad. Total install time with calibration, figure 2 to 5 hours for a first timer. Depends on how deep the harness gets burried and how many attempts it takes to get it calibrated correctly. Be aware that there is a Valve Bypass screw in the top of the valve if the cultivator were ever to be hooked to a Deere tractor again. Make sure this is in the proper position. You can also bypass the cylinder valves by pushing in on the knurled knob and turning 1/4 turn to lock. Also be aware that this system is plumbed up in parallel, so the heaviest section goes down first and the lightest comes up first when these valves are bypassed.

Forgot to note that the connectors for connecting the valve itself are burried under the sheath on the cultivator harness itself. The long AccuDepth harness just goes from the display to the large ISO connector on the cultivator.
