Alberta, Canada | Expecting delivery of a new one of these early this spring. Ordered with the 120 ft. booms, Raven autoboom equipped with the ultra-sonic sensors. Looking for someone with a similar setup to tell me if I need 4 sensors (2 on each boom) or 5 sensors with the extra one being on the cradle to measure both boom height and return-to-pass at the headlands. Some say you don't need the cradle sensor as the boom sensors will do this for you. Also wondering if we should add a touch-down wheel to each boom for added safety to avoid hitting the ground with the boom ? What do you guys use ? Hoping to use the PRO 600 as the sprayer controller as the new sprayer electronics are ISO Compliant. Thanks for any input ! | |
