Texas | Rich - 1/3/2011 02:07 Obviously I was thought of in your post so I will reply. James may have been influenced by a great source but at the same time, So was doubting thomas and lets not forget judas. )
Read my quote carefully and you will find it says James was inspired by a great source, not "influenced".
Ok, what difference does that make? Well, James was a writer of one of the books of the Bible, doubting Thomas and Judas were not. The writers of the Bible recorded the choices of the other two, but James was writing a text as the Holy Spirit inspired him to.
I personally doubt that James was a great thinker or writer, let alone unique in any other way other than his choice to submit to the inspirition of the Holy Spirit. Well, to think about it, I guess that is pretty unique!
Hey Rich, I couldn't resist. I just had to drag you to Sunday School with me on this one! God bless You. |
